Service Requests

A service request is a structured task you submit to a professional-services provider through TaxEase — for example a tax-registration, compliance, or filing task. The request captures everything the provider needs through a guided, multi-step form and then moves through clear status stages so both sides always know where it stands.

How it works

  1. Choose a service. From the Services area, pick the service you need. Each service has its own intake form tailored to what that task requires.
  2. Complete the multi-step form. Forms are broken into logical steps with validation, so you only move forward once each step is complete.
  3. Attach documents. Upload any supporting files; they are stored through FilesHub and stay attached to the request (see Documents).
  4. Submit. The request is created and enters the tracking pipeline.
  5. Track status. Follow the request from submission through review, in-progress, and completion on your dashboard.

Status stages

A request moves through stages such as submitted, under review, in progress, awaiting information, and completed. Status changes are reflected in your dashboard and notifications so you do not have to chase updates.

Communication

Every request has its own message thread. Open it from the request and write to the team handling it; their replies land in the same thread, and both sides see the conversation in real time. Messages and documents stay attached to the request, so the full context of a task lives in one place rather than scattered across email threads.

Good to know

  • Service requests require an account.
  • The exact set of services and their forms is configured by the provider and may vary.
  • This area is for coordinating professional services — the calculators and document generators are self-service and need no account.
